The Durupinar site is located within several hundred yards of the Iranian border. 11 miles southeast of Dogubayazit, Turkey and 22.2 miles south of the Mt. Ararat summit. It's an estimated 16 miles from the base of Mt. Ararat (hard to tell where the base of Mt. Ararat begins).
