Christian Television is a medium, but it's rarely done well.
Soon after graduating college I walked away from the corporate world and into a life of adventure on The Quest for Bible Treasures. My passion is to search for Biblical archeology and document what I find on film. The first big adventure was to take my small film crew in August 2004 to a location in far eastern Turkey that is believed to be Noah's Ark (Durupinar site). There, on the side of a mountain at 6,000 feet just a few hundred yards from the Iranian border, I was met by a small team of scientists as we worked for the next several days at the location some believe to be Noah's Ark.
In August 2005, I was a part of an expedition to search for the remains of Noah's Ark on the icy slopes of Mount Ararat.
The links to the left provide you with some behind the scenes pictures and insight into the production of The Quest for Bible Treasures: Noah's Ark documentary.
Production for the documentary has been "out of this world." There have been close encounters with wild dogs to hillarious events that you just had to be there to believe. One thing is for sure: it's a ton of work! Fortunately, I've had some help along the way.
I'm thankful for great men like Bob Kyle and his two sons from Captain's Models who have graciously donated their time and experience to help make this documentary project come to life. Captain Bob is a master model maker who has diligently worked in contructing a small scale model of Noah's Ark which will be used in filming. If you're looking for a small replica of your dream yacht or want something to impress your friends, Cap'n Bob is the man for job. Check out his site... very impressive!
I'll keep this page updated as production progresses. Be sure to check out the behind the scenes video from Mt. Ararat. If you'd like to be notified, join the email list by just sending an email to jeremy@thequestforbibletreasures.com and say "put me on your stupid list."
