The Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the truth!
Is it Noah's ark? Is it just an imprint of the ark left behind after the vessel eroded (like the viking ship Sutton Hoo)? Does anyone know?
While some may have concluded, based on their research, that it is or isn't Noah's ark, the real answer can only come from an excavation of the site.
There's very few people who want to discover the ark more than I do. However, until there's an excavation of the site can I be certain of what's in the formation. At the same time, I don't think it's wise to discard the site as a natural formation and walk away before an excavation. Why not complete an excavation and lay the issue at rest?
I still remain suspicious that Turkey has yet to excavate the site. It seems to me they are milking the tourists for dollars. On the other hand, I've talked to the locals and they don't want the site excavated because it would bring worldwide attention to their quiet village.
Until it's excavated, I will continue my quest to find the ark in the "mountains of Ararat" as recorded in Genesis 8:4.
To those who search for the ark.... all the best!
